Monday-Tuesday: 10-5
Wednesday: 10-8
Thursday-Friday: 10-5
Saturday: 10-12

Please remember that our library is closed on Sundays, and that hours may change based on holidays or special events (we are closed on most holidays). For information on hour changes please see our events section. On certain days and times, librarians are allowed to break for meals and if they are gone, please wait for their return if you need any help (they will only be gone for a short time). Thank you. Also, if the librarian is eating lunch in the library you can still ask for our help and we'll gladly assist you in due time.

Library Cards
Library cards are available free.
Drivers license, post office information, or rental receipt required as identification.
Anyone older than 1st grade level is eligible.
A $1.00 fee is assessed for card replacement.
Loan Periods
Books, magazines, CDs: 28 days
Videos: 7 days

Videos: Maximum of 3 titles checked out at one time.
Maximum of 100 books and magazines checked out at one time.
Renewals
Items can be renewed if not on hold.
Materials can be renewed through LINKcat.
There are no limits on renewals.

Holds
Patrons may place holds on items through LINKCat, the online catalog.
There is no fee for placing a hold.
There are no limits on the number of items on hold.
Patrons are notified by phone or mail when hold items have arrived.
Late Fees
$.10/day for all materials.
Interlibrary Loan
ILL service is available at no charge.
There are no limits on the number of materials patrons can request.
ILL requests can be placed in person or by phone.

Obituaries/Local History:
Library will search for obituaries if the patron provides full name and approximate year of death.
There is no charge for this service (but donations accepted!!)

Library also has History of Cambria and requests can be referred to a local historian.
Other Policies
Other equipment available:

$5.00 donation/day accepted.

Meeting room
Back of library used as meeting room (no walls)
Seats 25 with tables, seats 50 without tables.
Available during open hours only.
Reservations must be made in advance.
Computer equipment available:
3 computers available for public use.
Microsoft Office, FrontPage, educational software, and Internet available on computers.
No requirements for computer use except that patrons must be 13 or older to use the Internet unless a parent is present.
Computers have time limit of 30 minutes.

Internet Computer Use

  • You can use the computer for a half an hour.
  • No Downloading.
  • You must be 13 years or older.
  • No Chat rooms or instant messaging.
  • 25¢ per printed page.
  • E-mail is ok to use.
  • Tell the librarian when you are done.
  • You may call in and reserve a time, but please be sure to be on time.
  • You may only use a computer once a day.
  • Please don't go to inappropriate sites.
  • Children/Teens with over due materials or lost materials must return the material before they can use the computer.
  • Do not use your own disk in the computer.
  • The computer on the left is an Internet/Link computer, meaning that you can surf the net as well as order books through the LINK system. The computer on the right is solely used as an Internet computer. We would greatly appreciate it if the computer on the right were to be filled first so they net/LINK computer could be used by patrons wishing to order books.

    Game Computer Use

    • Take care of the CDs when you are done with them, putting them in their appropriate case.
    • You may use a game computer for a half an hour.
    • Please shut the computer down properly.

  • Games can be played for a half an hour.
  • You must ask the librarian first.
  • Pick up after yourselves.
  • Please use library voices.
